OptiPlex GX280 soundmax integrated digital audio failed, driver problem?

I have an Optiplex GX280 with soundmax integrated digital audio under Windows 7 SP1. Sound works fine for a long time, then more nothing. I uninstalled it, rebooted, Windows Update found and installed the same driver. Speakers using good reputation does not work. I tried to find a few smwdm.sys, NG. I double checked the BIOS, audio integrated will continue to operate. He then restarted and re-enabled it is disabled.  I found a newer driver, 5.12.02.5280 is not compatible. About to call it DOA, and order a PCI card, thought I'd give it a shot in the forum. Appreciate the help.

  • SoundMAX Integrated Digital HD audio problems.

    Hello.

I have a laptop HP 6730 s with vista business and SoundMAX Integrated Digital HD audio. When I display the audio soundMax, "recording devices" section says "all audio devices are disabled. I have his (music, Skype etc...) but not micro... and in my settings of sound in the 'recording' tab is "no audio device is installed". I thought that I had a mic on my computer but went and bought one and still does not work. Can I get help?

Here's my problem. I went to check on internet about this and he told me that I have to download new drivers soundmax and download a driver update program and update the driver tells me that I have to download a bunch of other thingies updater that has nothing to do with the sound.

    Try this:

In your sound, recording tab, right-click on the box and click on "Show disabled devices" and "Show disconnected devices" to curb before them. Turn on the device (right click), and then click buttons 'set as default', 'apply' and 'OK' to exit.

If you need to download the drivers go to:

You must enter your product name/model, then select your operating system.

  • experiment with soundmax integrated digital hd audio drivers...

Well, I posted this in another forum because I had some problems with a helmet of newly purchased game... Meanwhile I have solved my problem easily, but I'm still very interested in getting the latest drivers soundmax working for my ADI soundmax integrated digital device hd audio 1981

Yes, here is the post. suggestions, especially of someone knowing changes in driver HP for laptops (and how to identify and remove - effectively apply these modificarions on a non hp driver, of course ) are appreciated and neglect the first chapter noting minor problems, since theyre resolved. for those interested, it's the whole election usb to 500 Hz by my habu razer driver that caused problems (stress the cpu too all in game) with the headset - plug on the other hub usb resolved, since that, we're not overclocked.

I just bought a fatal1ty headset and now I'm some minor problems with my sound. Obviously the sound card actually since I installed the software and drivers for the latest headphones.

so far, I used the driver I got from the download page of my laptop by HP, version 5.10.1.5220 of the 05.02.2008.

now, I looked across the net and found many of these drivers soundmax, but I'm not sure that one is...

I learned that the 6. # drivers are for vista, and 5.10.02. # for xp x 64 drivers. so I need a 5.10.1 # a (using Windows XP pro sp3), preferably newer than 5220. now on the page that I found them (www.versiontracker.com), there are many of these drivers (218 to be exact) and sorting by release date confuses me a little, since the latest driver of 5.10.1 # is 5.10.1.5860, but 5.10.1.6110 a little earlier was released. So who is the most recent?

and all are 2008... is there really no more recent? the official page of soundmax there are none, not even support section.

    the device id is HDAUDIO\FUNC_01 & VEN_11D4 & DEV_1981 & SUBSYS_103C30C5 & REV_1002\4 & 1D8C0F4E & 0 & 0001, since we can't identify the exact device name.

someone at - it an idea?

    Thank you

    HPC_5860_1_XP_32_REF says hardware not supported...

    EDIT #2:
used the experience of modding drivers for ati mobility GPU and copied the softpak hp devices to install my driver soundmax in the INF this driver of 5860 above, installed by the Device Manager and it seems to work. lets see how well...

    EDIT #3:
a look at the Device Manager now makes me look stupid... my driver version is now 5.10.1.5180, which is the oldest one offered on the hp page, although I have installed the 5.10.1.5860 modded inf file.

    solved.

I had the driver of the 5870 since this page and installed. These seem to be the most recent. I'll take a look at the inf file, maybe learn how future drivers in order to be compatible with 8510p mod.

  • I get an error code 10. DT High Definition Audio CODEC driver problem. Have uninstalled and re installed, still no progress. Any advice? I have

I bought a new laptop, Dell Vostro 3550 and found pirated software. I installed Windows 7 Pro (64 bit).

There is no sound at all. Get a code 10 message, IDT High Definition Audio CODEC has a driver problem. I uninstalled and re installed the driver without result.
    If anyone can help?

    Hello Eugene,

When you installed Windows 7 Pro, did you do a reformat and clean install, or have you just loaded Win 7? Part of the problem may be a residual of pirated software. I recommend a reformat and clean install if you can do it now.

In the contrary case, the thing to look at is if there is a driver conflict between what driver is there now compared to what was there. Go to control panel | Device Manager and watch the video, sound, and game controllers section. What drivers are here for audio? And which audio driver your speakers are pointed to? The active audio driver suitable for your speakers.

If you could answer my questions, I might be able to help you further.

    Kind regards

  • No audio; possible driver issue. "There is no available mixer devices."

I can not play sounds on my computer: no CD, no mp3s, not iTunes, no system sounds, nothing. When I try to open my sound engineer (Volume control), it gives me the following error message:

"There is no mixer device. To install mixer devices, go to control panel, click Printers and other devices, and then click Add Hardware. This program will be closed. »

I tried adding hardware, uninstall and re-install my drivers, check the physical connections and power cords, restart, and ensure all relevant in services.msc is set to automatic. Nothing did. Many devices (under audio, video and game controllers) device displays Manager works not properly: Audio Codecs, Legacy Audio Drivers... SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio, etc. When I check the properties of these devices, it gives the following message appears in the status of the device (general tab):

"A driver (service) for this device has been disabled.  Another driver can provide this functionality. (Code 32) »

They are activated, the only problem seems to be one or more drivers. But the update does not resolve the problem and troubleshooting of Windows doesn't help.

I worked with someone in the Bleeping Computer to remove malicious software, and we have identified a few days that my machine was clean. The tech who was helping me said the audio problem is a separate issue from malware, but I suspect that the malware could have damaged something or change my settings. I thought it might have been accidentally caused by my use of AutoRuns (a few hours before I noticed the sound problem and in the middle of the 9-day process to remove malware) to disable malicious programs which were auto-loading, but I can't find anything that looks related to the sound that is not set to automatic loading at startup.

I noticed in AutoRuns, that the aeaudio.sys driver is set to auto-charge but it says "File not found" in the Path column. I checked the system32 folder and it wasn't there at the beginning, but then I found the file in two other folders and copied in system32, yet AutoRuns still says it is not found. I tried to reboot to see if that would refresh but he says always not found. Also, I can't see how a problem with a driver (aeaudio.sys) that filters background noise (during the recording of the sounds, right?) can knock out all my audio.

I have studied this problem for days and that you can find no answer to the problem. Help, please.

    Data sheet:

Card isn't his SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio

    msecox,

Bad news: the problem is hardware, not software. I tried to install a new sound card, but it turned out that the part of my motherboard that sound control has been fried. Also, you may want to replace the sound card before condemning the audio controller. If this fails, your best bet is to replace all of your PCs, because a new motherboard will cost almost $200 (in addition to work if you can not install it yourself).

    Good luck!

  • Don't know which video driver to download for my OptiPlex GX280

I used the software detects Dell system to analyze my OptiPlex GX280 available software upgrades.  I thought this would tell me what specific video driver applies to my system.  Instead, he enrolled several video drivers with the message "applies to...» »

I know that some drivers do not apply because they are for video cards and my GX280 has integrated Intel graphics.  I know not which of the following is to my system:

915 G Graphics Controller (importance of the pilot is '' recommended '')

    or

82915 G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family (importance of the driver is 'optional')

Are these two different things?  If so, then my OptiPlex has both?

    Thank you.

The graphics controller is a component in the chipset; the driver is installed separately from the rest of the chipset software.

  • Digital Audio Room Correction error: failed to get delay measures

Original title: Digital Audio Room Correction

    Hello

I have my system setup to be able to video chat, and there's a really bad echo across the line.  When people speak to me in my configuration, they can clearly hear what they were saying is repeated.  I did some tests and it seems that the issue is due to the sound from the speakers bouncing off the walls and then picked up by the mic.  I found this room correction function in the sound options menu and finds it difficult to make it work.
Under the terms of his, I click on properties of speaker.  The enhancements tab I find the room correction.  I run the test and it begins to make the beeps sounds.  Then it gives me an error saying it is "impossible to obtain measurements of delay.
I think the correction of delay could solve my problem of echo.
Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you
    Nick

    Hello

What is the brand and model of the sound card?

The room correction function is provided by the audio driver manufacturing and rests not natively in the operating system. I suggest you to update the sound card drivers and check the status. If the update of drivers does not have the problem, you can try to uninstall and reinstall the drivers from Device Manager sound card, follow these steps:

    (a) start Control Panel, click hardware and sound and then click Device Manager.

    (b) to expand the node that represents the type of device you want to uninstall, right click on the entrance to the unit and click on uninstall.

    (c) in the dialog box confirm the device removal, click OK to start the uninstall process.

    (d) when the uninstall is complete, the site of the factory driver download and install the drivers.

    (e) after installing the drivers, install the latest updates.

Hello! My display driver is not updated it shows brand yellow exclaimation its windows7 ultimate n Dell optiplex Gx280

You can be better ask Dell - http://support.dell.com/

Or looking at their support site for the latest drivers for your machine - if it's your PC?

If you go to the device in Device Manager (right click on 'Man Dev' in the control panel and run as Admin), then right click on the display device should be an option "update driver software". Or, if it is not there, click on properties - pilot and "update driver" from there. You can get an update from that time, but if not ask Dell.

This could be an Nvidia, Windows 7 64 bit, Matrox MX02, Premiere Pro CS5.5, ASUS P5E Deluxe problem or a bit of everything.

When I start the system, audio system, CDs and mp3 files work.

When a launch of first Pro CS5.5.2 audio works replaying in PP and the system of files as mp3s continue to play.

When I close Windows Media Player and re - open the audio only one that works is the PPCS5.5.2

This only happens after that PP is open.

When I reboot everything is back to normal, until the PP is open.

All the other audio fails, sound system, CD and mp3 files

The audio is routed to the Matrox MX02 with 5.5.1 drivers not the SoundMax card on ASUS P5E deluxe with the latest drivers and BIOS.

This is consistent. I have not a clue as to what is at the origin of the problem. Matrox is studying the MX02.
