Email removed from windows mail 8 app found in the trash folder

I use the windows mail app on my computer windows laptop 8 imp/Sync an e-mail from the University.

I spent my emails today and accidentally deleted an important. I went to the trash and its not there, makes me think that windows mail permanently delete emails.

I scoured the internet to my University e-mail, and one that I accidentally deleted is not in the Inbox or the trash.

Is there a way I can get this mail?

Hi, Fatima.

Thank you for your response.

Could you try to remove another test e-mail in your Inbox and check out what is happening. Also use the option to delete the e-mail application.
