BlackBerry Smartphones my PC does NOT recognize my Blackberry Curve 8330 at all!

I'm at the end of the roll, trying to figure out this question. My Blackberry Curve 8330 just will be not recognized my Vista PC running at all.

Here's what I know:

-My phone was purchased new may 9. It's the Verizon service, so what matters.

-My phone has a microSD inside memory card.

-(Home and car chargers) USB charge cords work to charge my phone. I see the icon taken directly to the left of the battery and it stays there until I have unplug the unit.

-I tried different USB cords to connect my phone to the PC and nothing works. When I plug in, the phone displays the icon card very briefly and then disappears. Nothing appears in the device for the USB slots Manager, either.

-All USB slots are the same, even those at the back of the computer.

-Other USB devices (iPod, for example) work very well.

-Ce How - to guide: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/rim/board/message?board.id=BlackBerryDesktopSoftware&thread.id=3...

I uninstalled Desktop Manager and installed the USB/Modem drivers (as it says). Those that I have used is worm. 4.7. still nothing. I restarted the computer and still nothing. This solved nothing. (Even used such 4.5 recommended in this thread, and it does not, either.)

What exactly should I do to get my PC recognise the Blackberry? I can't do some of the things I want to do until this issue is resolved. Because the USB port works to load, then I think that it must be my computer, but where the conflict is and how to fix it, I don't know.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Believe it or not, this problem has been resolved by the simplest of ways - simple up to what I feel embarrassed!

Know how they say when he's broke to book on I have and it works? Well I hate to be energetic on electronics, but I hit just the USB cable in the port of the BB curve. Then it started working like a charm.

All that stress and all I had to do was show some muscle.

After that it would not recognize the device in Windows as a mass storage device. This has been fixed by the backup of the memory card on the PC to save my pictures then insert into the BB and put in shape. At that time I also found instructions online to change the drive letter of the mass of the F: BB storage device a letter less used to resolve a conflict.

My BB Curve is perfect now and all we needed was the strength to fix. Again, I can't wait to beat him and mistreating my electronics but sometimes it works!

In conclusion, please don't make me feel too embarrassed lol.

  • BlackBerry 8830 smartphones & Desktop Manager does not recognize Outlook Express 2000, cannot sync

I just installed Desktop Manager 5.0 and connected to my BB 8830.  I use Outlook Express 2000 for the calendar and I want to sync it with my BB 8330.  However, in Desktop Manager under Sync / Config / select the device for the calendar, the only choices are Yahoo and text import/export.  Of course, it does not recognize Outlook Express 2000 as a calendar program.  Does anyone have a solution?

I bought this 8830 mainly to sync its calendar with my Outlook Express calendar.  If this does not work, then I'll go back to my cell phone operator.

I installed Desktop Manager 4.1 and it works now.  Be aware with this version, once you connect your BB to your computer, unless you go through the Wizard Windows Found New Hardware, Desktop Manager does not recognize the connection with your BB and your computer (I don't have to do with version 5.0).

RIM should be more attentive to people with a recent phone, but still using an earlier version of Microsoft Outlook / office.

  • BlackBerry 8320 of Smartphones Software install - does not recognize port

Try to download a software to save a 8320. Installation is fine (I disable the antivirus and run the file as an administrator to avoid any problem). It goes very well through the installation. To start the wizard and then the device-centric application, the first screen is the portal through which the device connects to the computer. The drop down menu is black and her box 'find the portal' is faded and cannot be used.

I tried several downloads and several portals, but nothing changes this screen.

I'd appreciate any help and thanks in advance!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Media Manager does not recognize the Media card

Installed the media 2G card.  Card is able to format and presents itself as 1.8 GB.  With mass storage, office software (Roxio media manager) does not show - memory card from the device.  In mass storage mode (which, according to the manual means the acts of the device as a USB storage device), PC sees the device, but does not not the files copied to it.  Has spent about 2 hours with the technical support of Verizon... they are puzzled.

I found a workaround for the music files on the card.  I removed from the Blackberry and installed in an SD adapter full-size and there in a USB key with a SD slot.  My computer has seen the media card (embedded in the USB device) and I flew over songs in the repertoire of music on the media card, put it back into my phone and viola... the music file was there!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Desktop Manager does not recognize Blackberry 9650

    Hello Hmend99,

I'm here to try to help or at least guide you on common sense.

because something similar happened to me and I am sure I know

    What is the problem.

This may be due to the fact possible that the Mac where is your blackberry

undetected can run on 64-BIT KERNEL mode which

BLACKBERRY STILL NOT OFFERED to SUPPORT / DRIVERS FOR.

They know this problem for months and months and until now

they don't seem to really care about their customers or to offer

a stable only 32 & 64 bit driver for mac, instead, they just said

clients (people like you and like me know this kind of questions,

and who expect to have our appliances working like it should and not to

have to deal with the BS like that, because we spent a lot of hard-earned

money for something we thought would work without problem

was available and could easily have gone because if something we

knew would happen this kind of things, because Blackberry is not the

alone on the smartphone market, but we just thought was reliable).

to follow this LAME SOLUTION, which Im sure could help you, but

    is certainly not a solution:

A LAME on BLACKBERRY KNOWLEDGE BASE SOLUTION.

And here I quote for you:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones multimedia app does not recognize MP3s update on my 4 GB SDHC card

I loaded a few songs on the 1 GB original SD card that came with my 8330 and they appeared in the media application as expected.  So I pulled out the card of 1 GB and inserted an SDHC card 4 GB, responsible for a lot of music using Windows Media Player, and Blackberry media application always displays the initial batch of music.

By clicking on one of the songs that are really on the map is nothing (as expected), but the song won't go away in the application of media and the new songs loaded on the card don't appear at all in the media application.

with your Blackberry on, remove the battery for a minute. Plug it back. Wait 5 minutes for the Blackberry to emerge.
go to the multimedia application. Wait for the Blackberry make its indexing (may vary... a few minutes to a few hours).

    then it's okay!
(the process is longer if you put a lot a lot of new songs)

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Windows XP does not recognize the reader of BB

I installed the BB Device Manager and its 'connected '.

However, when I open windows Explorer, it shows 2 drives E: and G: and when I click on it it says "insert disc". I can't copy all of the files for them.

    Hello and welcome!

E and G drives are new since the addition of the storm in your system? And they do not exist when the storm is not connected? Check on the storm (Options > memory) to be sure, this mass storage Mode is active and auto-permis. Restart the PC (and possibly the storm). Plug back in and see if it clears.

I signed up for AOL mail through my BB. It works fine, except for control messages. I can read and clear messages on the desktop of my BB, but if I read or delete messages on the desktop, it is not updated the BB.

How can I get this to work both ways?  Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you, Al

According to this, the Yahoo Mail should be 2 way sync - http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB12838

Some email providers do not support synchronization in 2 directions.

  • Windows 8 does NOT recognize that my Kodak 2650 printer all in one, it is vital to my business that it works

I don't want to get another printer that says it's compatible with Windows 8, the Kodak printer is only a few years old at best, and worked perfectly with the old laptop Windows 7 which has crashed and burned, so I bought a new laptop Lenovo G50 with Windows 8.  It will not even download the program from the disc supplied with the printer, HELP?

    Hello

Do not USE the disc... Open it and look for the file "Setup" or "Install"...

Right-click on it, select Properties, then the compatibility at the top tab.

In the window that opens, courses down, check for the Compatibility Mode, then select menu Win 7...

You can also try to download more recent Kodak software\drivers for your model.

There may be some available specifically to win 8.

  • Satellite A100 does not recognize the new CD/DVD drive

I bought a new CD/DVD drive for my A-100 of Toshiba Satellite age of four year old went crazy and wouldn't work.

Unfortunately, I bought a DVD of Toshiba Portege A100 / reader Combo CD - RW that is not exactly what I had before the jump that it will still work.

Unfortunately, I'm surprised because it does not recognize the CD/DVD drive at all: /...
It seems to work, and the light blinks I think that it is not broken.

I just plugged it because that's the way I was told to do.
I need to download the drivers to operate?
It will work on my laptop, or is it a "most recent" CD player that will not work with my laptop?

    I'd appreciate any help. THX

The BIOS does not recognize this new CURIOUS because the player seems not to be fully compatible.
I think there bad master/slave/c-salt settings

As you know these settings can be changed on the external CD/DVD drive for desktop switching jumper. But it is not possible for computers portable CD/DVD players.

You can solve it only purchase a new compatible disc.

Usually the ASP in your country could help you buy this disc of these guys here
However, you can consult the user manual if there are a few details on the compatible sides.
My user manual provides this information.

OK, if the printer works when you connect it to another computer and then your question has to do with the USB ports on your computer does not. I suggest you contact the computer is built to solve the problems with the computer.
